More than a marked tourist route, Brazil’s “Rota das Falésias” is a natural journey along one of the country’s most dramatic and beautiful coastlines. It is an immense belt of colorful cliffs that stretches for hundreds of kilometers, from the eastern coast of Ceará, all along the coastline of Rio Grande do Norte, forming a breathtaking landscape.
These cliffs, sculpted by wind and sea over millions of years, are primarily composed of sandstone and clay. They display a vibrant color palette ranging from incandescent orange and rusty red to white and ocher-yellow. This color spectacle becomes particularly intense during sunset, when the cliffs appear to catch fire.

Day 1 – ORIGIN / FORTIM
Arrival at Fortaleza airport. Welcome and transfer to Fortim.

Day 2 – FORTIM
After breakfast, enjoy a free day to relax at the hotel and beach. Vila Selvagem offers a complete spa and wellness facility. Around 4:00 PM, we’ll head out for a sunset experience. We’ll leave the hotel in a buggy and go to a special setup on the beach just for this moment. Enjoy the sunset with a sparkling wine toast.

Day 3 – FORTIM / ICAPUÍ / CANOA QUEBRADA
In the morning, after breakfast and according to the day’s tide, we’ll depart in our 4×4 vehicles to Icapuí. We’ll cross a small ferry and continue via the beach to Praia de Peroba. We’ll have lunch at Dona Gil’s restaurant, which has one of the most beautiful views in the region. Return to Canoa Quebrada (either by road or beach, depending on the tide). Check-in at the hotel. In the evening, you’re invited to explore the “Broadway” street with its restaurants and bars featuring live music.

Day 4 – CANOA QUEBRADA / MACAU
In the morning, after breakfast and according to the day’s tide, we’ll set off in our 4x4s, traveling along the beaches until we reach the city of Grossos, already in Rio Grande do Norte state. We’ll stop for lunch at Igrejinha dos Barcos. Afterwards, we’ll cross by ferry and continue to Macau. This part of the journey is highly tide-dependent for beach driving; depending on the day, we may take parallel roads. We’ll arrive in Macau in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 – MACAU
Enjoy the sunrise in this paradise with a Pilates and stretching session before breakfast. This will be a day to rest and enjoy a deserted beach in an untouched paradise. You can spend the day on water activities like kitesurfing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, or canoeing. Lunch and Dinner at the Hotel.

Day 6 – MACAU / GALINHOS
In the morning, after breakfast, we will depart for the beach town of Galinhos.
Galinhos is a peninsula with few inns, a simple way of life, and a charming atmosphere, where we will have incredible experiences. Check-in at Pousada K08 where lunch will be waiting for you, with a pool right in front of an inlet from the sea, offering a beautiful view. Free afternoon.

Day 7 – GALINHOS / SÃO MIGUEL DO GOSTOSO
In the morning, after breakfast, we’ll take a boat right in front of the inn for the culinary and environmental experience with Junior Tubarão. We’ll see seahorses in their natural habitat, visit salt flats, stop to collect fresh oysters, and have lunch during the tour in a very unique but spectacular way. Return after lunch and then we will head towards São Miguel do Gostoso. In the evening, we invite you to check out the Xepâ area and its wonderful restaurants, with a special mention for Borogodó.

Day 8 – SÃO MIGUEL DO GOSTOSO
Free day. Dinner at one of the restaurants in the Xepâ area or at your chosen hotel.
(Suggested Activity – not included: Culinary experience at “GASTROLAR JANGADEIROS,” a sequence of dishes featuring heartfelt, story-rich home-style cooking. During lunch, you’ll be right by the sea and can take the opportunity for a swim and to relax. Return to the hotel, free time.)
